Evaluation

Overall I am pleased with my outcome of my Urban Legend project. I think that I have come far with my make-up applying skills and have succeeded well in creating wounds onto the skin and in the hair. My favourite part of this project was creating my two final looks as I had a lot of fun in the studio with my models.
I feel that the look I have created for the killer has worked really well as the styling, hair and make-up all fits amazingly together and makes it a strong image to focus on. If I was to re-create this character I think I would look into trying out more hair designs and seeing what else would have worked with this look as I think I could have pushed myself to create something more difficult and skilful.
The second look that I have designed and created for the Victim in the music video also worked out really well in the final shoot. I was more worried about this look when doing the final as I didn't get the chance to practise the wounds before hand meaning I wasn't very confident when creating the look for my shoot. If I was to re-create this look I would spend more time practising everything that I am including in the final looks to ensure that everything is flawless and perfect on camera.
I am also pleased with the way my blog has come together as I think it flows well and shows a lot of research and design ideas along my journey to create two final images for a music video of my choice.
