Experimenting for look 2: The Victim

FACE CHARTS

On this face chart I have made the skin pale with a bruise on the side of the jaw bone. I have based this make-up on the part of the music video when the victim realises the killer is under the bed and leaps out of bed banging his face on the bedside draws.
I have also made the eyes look sore and red as he has just woken up.

I had inspiration from Gareth Pugh's 2013 catwalk make-up for this face chart. I liked the sore red eye idea and thought I would turn the realistic look into an unrealistic fashion look.
I have also contoured the face with a greyish tone on porcelain skin so make the face structure really stand out.

Here I have again used the sore red eyes but the more realistic look as oppose to the fashion one. I have also included a head wound on the side of the head above the ear. This is for when he is again scared by the killer and leaps out of bed causing him to hit his head hard on the bed side table making it draw blood. I have included a single drip of blood running down the face too to make it look realistic and fresh.

As well as the head wound I am also going to create a deep wound on the hand, the same side of the body as the head wound. This is because as he hangs his hand over the bed during the music video, the killer licks his hand again, to then bite it causing him to leap out of bed and hitting his hand on the draws. I have added bruising and redness around wound and have paled down the skin area that it has occurred.

HAIR

I want to keep the hair simple for this look and just simply styling it into a messy bed hair look. I think this will look best for my final look as the victim has just got up in a hurry from being in bed when he is attacked by the person laying under the bed that just before had killed his dog.
I am going to put a head wound on one side of the head as he hit his head on the side of the table when leaping out of bed as fast as possible.

STYLING

For this character I didn't want to over style him as he has just got out of bed and so wouldn't have been fully dressed or showered. I chose this colour and item as it is a fairly plain and simple vest which would be tended to be worn in bed or on a casual occasion.
I ensured the vest was a baggy fit so that the styling still looked fashionable even though it is based on the victims bed wear.

MODEL CHOICE

I am going to use my friend Jack to model for the victim as he has the right shape body to wear the vest in a fashionable way. His hair is also perfect for my shoot as I wanted it to be fairly long on top in order to style it messy like bed hair. He also has it shorter on the sides which is useful for the wound on the side of the head on my face chart.
