The Victim
As I am going to be using a male model for my second look I have used only males on my moodboard so that I can focus a lot deeper into the hair styles/look that I am going to create. I am going to try and find a model with hair the length that I have looked at on this style board as I want to be able to mess it up and make it look as though he has bed hair. I like the messy 'bed head' look as these catwalk images on my style board above show, as my victim character is in bed during my music video. I think that if I was to style this character's hair anymore then it would take away the believable style of the video as he has just been in bed so won't look perfect.
I want to keep the make-up quite simple and tired looking as this character has just got out of bed in the scene that I want to build my look upon. I like the pale face with small bags under the eyes as this proves that 'less is more'. I think that this style of make-up like the top left image shows from one of Gareth Pughs Catwalks gives a great effect for a gothic but fashionable look. Because I need to focus on skills that I have recently learnt, I want to include a wound either on the face, head or on the hand. I like the idea of a large open wound on the hand as the person under the bed licks the hanging hand to then later go on and bite it once the victim has realised what is there. This would have a great effect on the camera with a specific pose.
I want to keep the styling on this look fairly simple as I want to make the video seem as realistic as possible but still fashionable. As I am going to base this look on when the character gets out from his bed he needs to be styled in casual clothing which references bed wear. I am going to keep the colour scheme with plain colours so that the make-up and hair is the main focus to this image.
