Alex Box is a fine artist and visionary before a makeup artist. The woman uses the visage as a canvas to which she applies layers of non-conforming techniques which result in mind blowing avant-garde face paintings. I really like her work and when looking at her work I get an image of what she see's being real life.
I really like the texture and patterns that she uses throughout her different looks creating shapes with both the face and the hair in order to bring some imaginary to life.
I have created this face chart with inspiration from Alex Box Rankin's makeup image at the top of this post on the right and also the second black and white image of swirled patterns on the female models face. I really like these designs as I think the bold black precise lines stand out amazingly on camera.
